LIVING WITH ASTHMA IN EVERYDAY LIFE AND SOME HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES FOR ASTHMA

Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the airways and causes difficulty in breathing. Around 300 million peoples are suffering from asthma worldwide. In this condition, the person’s airways become inflamed narrow and swell and also produce extra mucus which makes it difficult to breathe. Commonly asthma triggers when it causes inflammation in the airways. It includes pollen, dust mites, tobacco smoke, food allergies, physical activities, and weather changes.

When you breathe in a trigger, the insides of your airways swell even more. This narrows the space for the air to move in and out of the lungs. The muscles that wrap around your airways also can tighten, making breathing even harder. When this happens, it is called an asthma attack.

Asthma can sometimes be stressful and challenging. We can say asthma is a common lung condition that causes occasional difficulties too. Asthma can affect people of all ages and often starts in childhood and can also develop in mid ages too. The most common risk factors for developing the condition are having a family history of asthma contracting a viral infection as a child, suffering from allergies, or being exposed to chemical irritants. Certain emotional factors such as stress, anxiety, and worries may also trigger sudden bouts of asthma.

Homeopathy offers a holistic cure as it goes to the root of the problem and treats the source. Homeopathic medicines are prescribed by taking note of the symptoms of asthma experienced by the patient, his mental and physical profile of each patient. The ideal would be to found the treatment which reflects the Similimum of the case. By Similimum, it means the remedy or medicine that best matches the person not just in terms of the symptoms but also in terms of his physic that we say his constitution of the person. This would offer a deeper aspect of healing.

Homeopathy helps in modify the hypersensitivity of the immune system. When the hypersensitivity or hyper susceptibility nature of the immune system improves in the course of treatment then he will not react adversely to the allergens which he was reacting to before. Thus, giving a long-term cure.
